Object Technology Solutions India (OTSI), a global IT services company, created the UPAg (Unified Portal for Agricultural Statistics) for India’s Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. This new UPAg portal, which launched in September 2023, is a significant step towards providing reliable, standardized information to empower stakeholders and improve agricultural policies.
The UPAg portal is a carefully designed platform to make data management in the agricultural sector more efficient. It addresses the need for accurate, objective data to reduce subjective decision-making in policymaking, promoting stability, transparency, and informed choices.
